Silk Road is a Victoria-based company that has been in business since 1992. We produce premium quality, organic teas, skincare and bodycare products, and also have an in-store spa. Our company follows sustainable business practices, and believes in having a positive effect on the environment and the community we live in.

Thank you for your interest in joining our team. We are currently hiring for the spa. Please see below for information on the different positions within Silk Road.

We accept resumes for all positions year round. Qualified candidates are asked to submit a resume in person to Silk Road at 1624 Government St., (in Victoria’s Chinatown District), to the attention of the Hiring Co-ordinator. Please include three employer references. Spa candidates must also include a photocopy of their graduation certificate.

retail & spa positions

We're looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and energetic individuals.

You are a self-motivated, hard working, professional team player with exceptional sales ability.

You thrive in an environment where multi-tasking and providing outstanding customer service are second nature to you.

Retail Qualifications: Previous retail sales experience.

Spa Qualifications: Certification in massage therapy, esthetics and/or completion of a spa practitioner program.

Starting wage is dependent on a successful candidate’s skills and/or experience.

stock & shipping position

Do you like working in a high energy, fast paced environment? Are you naturally organized and detail oriented? Do you have a drive and talent for getting things done quickly, efficiently and accurately?

We're looking for full-time and part-time professional, energetic, hardworking individuals who enjoy learning, thrive on producing high quality work, and can follow quality control guidelines and procedures.

Assist us in meeting and exceeding the expectations of our local and out-of-town clients. You’ll receive orders, assemble and pack up shipments for wholesale and mail order clients, unpack merchandise, and ensure that the stock needs of our retail store and spa are fulfilled.

Stock & Shipping Qualifications: Previous experience in a stock position is an asset, but not required. This position involves lifting and carrying parcels, and standing for extended periods of time. You must be able to work well independently, and as part of a team. You must also be flexible and able to multitask.
